WhatsApp is rolling out a new feature that lets you blur an image. You can now blur a portion of an image or the entire image entirely. The blur tool will appear next to the existing options for cropping, stickers, and markup. This will remove the need for third-party editing apps. You can even blur an image when you’re sending it. Despite its new features, there are still some limitations. WhatsApp is still working on an option that will allow you to crop or censor the image before sending it to someone else.

To use this new feature, you must first download the latest version of WhatsApp on your phone. If you don’t, you’ll notice an arrow icon on the preview of the blurred image. That means the picture hasn’t been downloaded yet. If you’re unsure if you’ve deleted the photo, try to restore it using your iPhone’s restore function.
