Jio has unveiled an immersive virtual reality (VR) headset called JioDive that will allow IPL fans to watch all matches of TATA IPL 2023 matches on an immersive 100-inch virtual screen in VR format using either 4G, 5G or Fiber internet connections and connect via the JioImmerse app on smartphones to view JioDive.

Features Of JioDive VR Headset

Jio announced that viewers could experience live cricket matches more immersively by using a special 360-degree immersive button in the JioCinema app, making viewing easy for people. According to Viacom 18’s spokesperson, this feature will make viewing live cricket easier and more immersive for people.

Jio states that viewers can access IPL matches through different perspectives, such as bird’s eye view, stump cam, and cable cam views available through the JioCinema app, making viewing more immersive.

Jio’s VR headset boasts a 90deg field of view with high-quality lenses that can be adjusted using wheels on both the center and sides for an improved image, says Jio. Furthermore, this device is compatible with smartphones with a gyroscope and accelerometer.
