Xiaomi’s Budget-Focused Redmi A2 Series Set to Launch in India on May 19

Xiaomi will bring back its budget-focused Redmi A2 series in India this month. First introduced earlier this year in Europe, this series comprises both Redmi A2 and A2+ models. These smartphones will feature a dual camera setup and 5,000mAh batteries, along with Android 13 Go Edition preinstalled.

Expected Specifications

Xiaomi will unveil their Redmi sub-brand phones next week in India with the tagline, “Desh Ka Smartphone.” Prices should start under Rs 8,000 with budget MediaTek Helio processors and leather-like backs as well as water drop notch displays. Both phones will come preloaded with Android 13 Go Edition and feature a 6.52″ HD+ display. The phones might feature up to 3GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 32GB of eMMC 5.1 storage; users may expand this to 1TB using microSD cards.
